Brief Description

The Office for Rights Protection and Legal Aid (OAG), operating under Thailand’s Office of the Attorney General, provides legal knowledge and support to prevent and respond to violence against women and children. With a presence in every provincial prosecutor’s office across 117 locations, the OAG plays a key role in raising awareness about legal rights and offering accessible legal aid. This institutional mechanism strengthens survivors’ access to justice and contributes to prevention through rights education.
